430 MEL ENGINE MOUNTS

The factory used the existing FE engine mounts but welded a new bracket over them for the 430 cubic inch Lincoln engine...

#1
Jon supplied these pictures for us, showing his engine mounts.  They are welded to the Sub Frame and bolted to the existing #2 crossmember mount.  This view is, looking down on the crossmember.

 #2
Same picture only with the addition of the insulator pad.

 #3
This insulator is really for a Ford 223 6-cyl. engine, but it also worked well for the 430.

Because the 430 is very hard to find parts for (making them expensive), many restorers cut these 430 engine mounts off and simply dropped a 352 or 390 FE engine on the existing mounts.
