    Pete's '57 - my dream-come-true

I waited all my life for this -- literally! I dreamed that one day I'd have a "baby blue '57 Tbird" of my own. Why? When I was a little guy (8 or 9 back in the early 60s) my Dad had a close friend with this very vehicle and every weekly visit he'd say, "go park my car, Pete" and I'd climb in behind that HUGE steering wheel and "drive it" for hours in my driveway. I recently sold my house and got some "play money" and thought, HELLLLLLL, WHY NOT!?!?!

So my daughter found this on Great Lakes Classic Cars and I took them up on their offering! You can see the complete set of photos here: https://flic.kr/s/aHBqjCmf83

But here it is in my driveway and at my very first car show!!!

    Pete,

Thanks for posting the pictures. She's a real beauty. I don't see the pictures in your driveway and car show. You'll need to put another link to them.

Stunningly beautiful, Pete. I love the upgrades too, like the radio, seatbelts, master cylinder, etc. The car is clean from bumper to bumper.

I am sewing seats for a '51 Plymouths for a buddy of mine and I'm doing them in the style of yours. The color is different but the style is the same. I have a request. Could you show the top of your seats?
