    Richard,
One of these is currently on display at the AACA Museum in Hershey PA. It will be there until Sep 30, 2010. I've seen this car, and the Stainless body panels have been spruced up to make it more presentable, but the rest of the car is a 50 year old Squarebird. Some emblems have been replaced, and some show signs of pitting. The undercarriage and interior are what one would expect in a maintained car of this age. I didn't have a chance to view the engine bay or the inside of the trunk. The Stainless 67 Lincoln Convertible is parked next to it.

Hope you are going to post these pix under the Stainless Ford thread .... can you separate them and have them readable size?

          Richard,
Absolutely! You can even touch them if no one is looking.

            Great purchase Richard!

Look at those crazy aftermarket valve covers on it's engine & a "bend-away" radio antenna...

Richard,.... Edit: Carl , If you have the opportunity, it would be VERY interesting if you can go around the car and take pictures of all ( or as many as possible... ) wiews as possible. That will help some of us to understand the "original shape" better. Espacially for those who are into painting there cars, as this one realy shows how sharp or rounded different areas suppose to look. Look for reflections! They always tells the truth about building quality and how things is mounted

                  Hey Anders,
It was Carl (partsetal) that had the opportunity to get up close and personnel with these beauty's. I would love to see them up close, they would probably arrest me for drooling all over them

I know you folks will think I'm crazy (maybe so) but I don't like it at all. Don't get me wrong - it's a really neat novelty thing but IMHO the SS and chrome just don't work together.

Maybe if I saw it in person - but all that coming from someone who has a white car - which as my wife's friend reminded me "looks like you couldn't afford a color" - still laughing about that one.
