jackbird60 ~ Jack told me that he has to replace his limit flip lip switch on his '66 Convertible. I do not know if this switch is also present on the Squarebird or Bulletbird convertibles. If it is, you might want to know this. Here is what Jack had to say about finding a replacement for it.
"I HAVE TO REPLACE THAT LIMIT FLIP LIP SWITCH. REAL EXPENSIVE. THE THUNDERBIRD RANCH HAS A COMPLETELY NEW DESIGN, THAT'S ALL ELECTRICAL, WITH NO MOVING PARTS, UNLIKE THE OLD DESIGN. TO BUY A REBUILT IT'S $375, PLUS $150 CORE CHARGE. THE NEW DESIGN IS A FLAT $325, AND WILL WORK BETTER AND LAST MUCH, MUCH LONGER."
