THAT is my color ! well, the color of the Lincoln Mark I used to own!
I picked it out of a DuPont color-map (their word for "book") and Ford actually did it for me, in the plant, on line, at no cost.
(Those days are long gone). The Mark was a 1986 & had dark burgundy leather interior.
This Bird looks fantastic & I really wish it was mine. However I can imagine the price, and with 6 cars NOW, the wife would explode, and with the cost of insurance in New Jersey - I really can't afford it, PLUS storage here is "on the moon" - My current storage monthly fees total $500.00 @ month, or $6,000 @ year! Wifw screams about it & is always throwing up to me.
Can ya imagine if I bought this Bird?

SandyBoy your 86 Mark looks stunning and this has always been your colour. As you say, it would be a tough sell on your wife to convince her of another car even though it would be a TBird. Ray can't buy this one, as Yellowrose would be extremely jealousand there would be dissention in the household ( garage )She is a beauty though.

This is UNREAL !!!!!!!

Today, I went to a huge car show! 100++ CARS, all mint. So, I am good friends with the owner and all the employees at my local LMF dealer. So, I run into one of the employees...he tells me that at this dealer's OTHER store (Ford Only) somebody ordered a 2010 Mustang IN PINK !

(and) FORD MADE IT !!! He states that the car arrived on the delivery truck, IN PINK. I was told, by several, that 1988 was the final year for such.

I told my wife when I got home and said that I could now get a Pink Mustang GT Convertible ! I was all fired up. Her comment...
Oh no..... Dear God - not again.
