    What to use?

I bought a used truck from a local lot. I was wanting to clean and treat the rubber and plastic trim. I asked the owner of the lot what he uses as he cleans and details his inventory very well. I have been useing ArmourAll for quite some time, especially on motorcycles. I asked about ArmourAll and he said " oh no, don't use that". He said that he gets some "special stuff' from his jobber. So, I'm asking, Is there something harmful in ArmourAll? and what do you folks recommend? Thanks.

    silicone

Armorall has silicone in it which gases off and creates issues. I use Meguires (Probably misspelled). Which is what the auto detailers around here use. You can get it at autozone etc. I have switched to all Meguires for my leather, rubber etc.

It is Meguiars. And go through their video lists on proper car care. Try this!

Thank you! Why didn't I think of that? I really like their wax and Quick Detailer.

Don't use ArmourAll, use 303 Protectant.

I use their protectant, top cleaner and protectant, stain cleaner. The stuff works and works really well.

My other thing for their product, it is a local product for me, which make me even more loyal to it.....
