    Dee Dee's Truck

    Hey Guys,
    Its not a Thunderbird!
This is my wife's '99 F-150 Mark Martin Signature Edition, built by Roush Industries. It only has 8000 miles on her. She is number 52! Roush had planed to make 500 units. They could not sell them, $30,000 dollar truck! So they cut back production to, last I heard, eighty some units!
We took it to Mark Martins dealership in spring 2008 and got Mark to sign the dash.
    Hope you enjoy!

I really like her a whole lot better than the Harley-Davison F-150. The truck ain't too shabby, either. - Dave

            Hey Dave,
            Wife says thanks!
Harley-Davison F-150 are a dime a dozen. These Mark Martin/ Roush trucks are numbered and we have tried to find other owners and had no luck. Wife wanted to sell it when Mark started driving Chevrolets, I let her know real quick NO!!! With his signature on dash and the shape she is in, she should bring a pretty penny someday!!!
Andres, I never thought about polar bear. Just White Elephant. When wife takes her to car shows, I get to clean that White Elephant, top, sides, inside, engine bay and underneath, while she watches

Richard, have you tried contacting Roush? They may know where some of the other trucks are.

A '99 Mark Martin... and what a dynamite driver he was in '99. He drove that season in second place behind Jeff Gordon, and ended up third in points; Mark's third consecutive season among the top three. You couldn't pick a better driver or a better signature pickup truck. Looks like you picked a winner in the 'wife' department, too.

Hey Rich, do you have an idea of when you're doing the brakes on your 'bird? I still have the reamer for that lower ball joint hole. - Dave

                Hey Dave,
Roush would have know way of knowing who bought these trucks. They have a certificate of authenticity that came with the truck, but no registration with Roush. There was a women at Mark Martin dealership when we went there said she had one that they used as a daily driver. High miles and pretty much ragged out. I posted a post on Ford Trucks and had no response!
Mark Martin had several championships taken away from him for silly stuff during the seasons. We thought for sure he was going to be a lot closer this last year than it ended up. My wife has rooted for him ever since he started racing NASCAR. He has always been her favorite! Also her maiden name is MARTIN!!!
