Fellow birders I and some others in central Ohio need some help. No I'm not asking for money just some information. There has been a string of break ins at a storage facility in the central Ohio area. Some families have been whipped out, everything they own was stolen. As for me all the parts taken off my beloved Thunderbird for body work were stolen. As most of the items that were taken are household item they are nearly imposable to trace, law enforcement has nothing to go on. But my parts are rather unique and not of any value to any one who does not have a Thunderbird or deal in there parts. As this is an on going investigation I can not say exactly what was taken or the year of my Thunderbird other than it is a "Flairbird". I am posting this with the support and encouragement of law enforcement. If any one is offered any Flairbird parts from the central Ohio area please get the sellers information (name, address, phone number, and what parts are being offered) and make an excuse to call them back. Then please contact the Fairfield county sheriffs department, Detective bureau, detective Brown at (614) 687-6884 with the information. I am still cataloging my missing parts and so far the total is over $5,000.00, while others have lost all they own. Thank you for any help you can offer, and please pass this around to all bird houses, other groups, and friend who are T-Bird enthousiust but are not member of this group. Again thank you for any helpyou can offer.

When you call, tell him I suggest he start paying close attention to eBay listings from the Ohio area. - Dave

Dave that's a great idea about Ebay and as I am on it frequently, I too, will keep an eye out and advise.

Someone tell him to start watching Craigs List also.. He can search by year and by area or by state... He might want to search by Ohio or that area. Here is a link to the 1964 search information. He can change the year to which ever year it was.

Ray good idea. Another area that they might show up, is a winter swap meet with lots of these reltaed parts. They will probably sell them off cheap to get rid of the evidence.
