i spent alot of time on ebay trying to win an original squarebird model only to be out bid but as allways with persistance i finnally got one a few years ago and guess what it just happened to be painted burgundy with a white roof just like rosie how ironic is that!

last weekend at a show i went to a guy had an original 60 t-bird promo (silver) as with almost all the real old promos this one is warped pretty good but i bought it
      also
at one of the local antique malls here a guy has like 7 squarebird promos for sale i think his cheapest is 75.00 which is about twice what i would pay it just kills me to see them sitting there cause i know one day (if they stay there too long) im gonna have some extra money on me and im gonna break down and buy one of them

ive been meaning to gather up all my small scale sqbirds and snap a pic of them maybe this thread will finnally make me do it

For a while I chased up as many Revell ´58 birds in different configurations and colours as I could. It was basicly the same model, but released again with a new colour. Have 10 now So I will build "Ruth" like she is now, plus a lot of different colours just to se how she looks in another dress.....
        Will be a nice "wall-museum".

I have a few that you have as well. That littleMetallic Blue Convertible is a masterpiece. Funny, I also have that "one yellow incl. figures mold" as well. Remember I have one as a child also. Must be that one that triggered my interest for the Squarebirds....

I've got one of the Sunstar 1:18 scale die cast convertibles. Actually, my wife got me two for Christmas one year. One was black with the tan leather interior, the other was white with a read leather interior. I disassembled both and swapped the interiors so I'd have a black and red one to match mine. I then sold the white and tan one to another member here, I think. Might have been from the Yahoo! list.

It's a good model with nice detail, especially for the price.

Hey Anders, does this look anything like Ruth?
The flash brightened up the color of my car but holding it next to the pic of your car they look to be the same.
