    Does Anyone Know Rick Nolen?

Some years back, Rick Nolen provided the information and pictures for the Disc Brake Conversion Technical Tip, a very good one. Unfortunately, during the server move several years ago, these are some of the pictures that came up missing. There are about a half dozen that I have tried to recover, including using the WayBack Machine, to no avail. IF any had the foresight to save those pictures on their computer, please send them to me. I know that a number of you are interested in that conversion and would like to be able to see the missing graphics.

IF anyone knows how to get in contact with Rick Nolen, please let me know. I think I tried once before without any luck, but I want to try again. He does not appear to be a Squarebirds member because I searched on both his first and last name with no luck.

Can anyone help? If you have happen to have other missing graphics on your computer, please send them also so I can continue to restore more Technical Tip. I have done pretty well in recovering a good number of them, but we still have missing graphics.

Thanks, Cathie!! You are a better bloodhound than I am!! I googled his name and came up with the hotrodders link and was going through his user name info and threads he created, trying to see if he might have posted a phone number, when your email and post came in! I caught him at work, but left him a message explaining who I am, and what I was looking for. Hopefully, he still has those pix on his computer... I will see what he has to say. He referenced his Disc Brake Conversion on hotrodders, and put the link there, but of course, the link is missing the pictures... After doing a search on our database on "Rick" i found 63tbirdrick, but it has been nearly three years since he posted.

is this a link useing parts off other ford cars? if so i want to see this article BAD ive been looking for such info my pockets dont go deep enough for all the disk brake companys stuff

allthough i recently saw an add for a disc swap kit for 55- 63 big fords includeing our birds using original drum brake spindles etc for $250.00 which isnt bad but if i can get stuff from a junkyard /local parts house combination that would be muchos better

Yes, this is the Technical Tip that used Granada parts. You will find it here on the Temporary Technical Resource Library. Check the listing and you will find it under Disc Brake Conversion for '58-'60 Tbird or something like that. I may not have the wording exact, but you cannot miss it. Ya'll should bookmark this web page, because this is where I put the Technical Tip with graphics I have found and replaced..

I have a call into Rick Nolen, but he has not returned it yet.. I will try him again tomorrow night or over the weekend. Thanks, Cathie!
