    Kiwi hot rodding, Tbird

    Hi there

Check out this link, it's a TV show down here in New Zealand that features the local hot rod, classic and street machine scene

This clip is from the New Zealand Hot Rod Assoc National hot rod show, it gives a reasonable indication of what's going on down here , plus there's a couple of glimpses of my Tbird at 2.25 and 4.59

If you search Red Shift on YouTube you'll find more clips from the show, plus there's www.theredshift.co.nz

    Cheers

      Hi ya

A kiwi is an endangered small flightless bird that's unique to New Zealand. It's kinda our national symbol, that and the silver fern, which is a indigneous plant.

If you're a New Zealander you're a 'kiwi', and proud of it (:

Nobody here calls themselves New Zealanders, we're all 'kiwis'.

      Cheers

        Hey Alistair,
Whilst you were explaining about the "Kiwi Bird" you could also explain about the Kiwi Fruit.

A trendy name for what use to be a Chinese Gooseberry.

Now known as Zespri or something like that.

Say 'kiwi' in the USA and they think your talking about boot-blacking ('Nugget' in NZ) or kiwi fruit.

Hardly any have heard of the bird.
