    Welcome, Coral!!

Hi Cathie! I just moderated and approved your membership. It looks like you are in my Central time Zone. Were are you located at? We are glad to have you as a member of our international Forums! We have many of the best Tbird Techies in the world on here. Just post an entry in the appropriate forum when you have questions. I gather you are a Tbird owner. What year Tbird do you own? What color, engine, etc. If there is anything I can do to help you navigate our Forum, please feel free to contact me. It is great having another woman join us on the Forum.

Your user id of Coral was accepted. I hope you wrote down your password because it does show to me...

But, you got it lined out...

I am in Central IL. - a transplant from WI, born and raised.
I do have a 1960 hardtop, I don't have a decent picture of her to add in my profile...but I'll get one soon.

    Thanks for the welcome!

      Welcome, Coral!!

      Hi Cathie!

Glad to help. I see you found this greeting. As I said in email, when you have any questions regarding fixing or maintaining your '60 Tbird just post them in the '58-'60 Tbird Forum. Someone will come along and help you. Is the exterior color of your Tbird Coral, hence the name? If so, that is a pretty color. Where did you find her at? What model is she? Hard Top? Convertible? What engine, 352 or 430? Tell us about your Bird when you can. We love hearing what other members have and are doing with their Tbirds. If you would like to post pictures of her when you have some, you can email them to me, and I can post them for you. If ya need help, just holler! You know my email address and phone number now. We are here to help each other..

          Okey Dokey, here's goes nothing....

I stumbled across this forum and the t-bird registry looking to update some pricing information on parts cause I had made the decision to sell my girl Coral.
Well, the longer I looked around, and emailed with YellowRose I decided not to sell her after all...

          SO...

I'll be making a post in the correct area...

            Welcome, Coral!!

            Hi Cathie!

Way to go, girl! I am sure the guys here will be very glad to help you as you go through your restoration project. Our members have some of the greatest knowledge of all when it comes to working on our Squarebirds. They should be able to help you save time and money with the advice they can give you. All you have to do is ask them questions up on the '58-'60 Squarebirds Forum and they will be very glad to help you out.

Guys, Cathie has a '60 Tbird that needs a fair amount of work, though, as I recall, it runs. It appears to have a 352 engine in it, no AC, the interior needs to be redone, and a paint job. Luckily, she will have some help. Her uncle is a body/paint shop owner and can help in that area. Her aunt has industrial sewing machines to help with the interior. Cathie says she can do a lot of things herself. She is determined to bring her "Coral" back to life again. Hopefully, I will be putting up some pictures for her of "Coral" for her so you can see the work that needs to be done. I will let her tell you more about her..

She just posted a great beginning story as to how she got Coral... with more info to come later!
