    Thanks

    Hey Guys,
How about a round of applause for Ray (old sarge and Digger and all the others) that have picked up the ball and are keeping this web site up and running. At one point I thought it was all over, but this shows what a strong team we have. Let's recognize not only their experience and knowledge that they share with us,but just importantly, the time they give that takes them away from their families and their cars.

Thanks from one member who really needs and appreciates them.

Hear hear! Well said Sal. I have solved many issues, sometimes without even asking the question so I add my congratulations and thanks as well.

              Thanks

Thank you guys, for the kudo's. I must say that John Peters (aka driller, not digger! although to fix a lot of things, driller has been doing a lot of "digging"!) has been doing great work in getting into things that are not working right and fixing them. He has been able to fix any number of things that were not working properly, possibly due to a software upgrade or the server move some time back. Dan Leavens has been quietly working in the background to contact others, like Julie, and Marianne, to get some other things accomplished. Marianne is taking care of detent plate orders, for example, something that Alexander asked his sister to do. Hopefully, we will soon have a new webmaster, and I can turn that job over to him.

Shortly, we hope to be able to make an announcement regarding your webspace and Squarebirds email, as soon as driller gets something else fixed. So it has been a team effort to keep the Forum going and getting it fixed. Thanks again for your kind words, and have a safe and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Sal your original thread, only strengthens the resolve of this site and the many people that keep it running. Way back when Alexander, Driller and SandyBoy had the idea to create this forum ( similar to the LOD site * Lincolns of Distinction *) there was a need to have a forum for the many people, in need of help with problems and outsourcing parts for their TBirds. The statement that their is " strength in numbers " is a testament to just how a team of people with a common goal can get things accomplished. I too would like to thank the many people who whether up front, such as Ray & Driller or behind the scenes ( you know who you are ) have continued the legacy of Alexander, who as stated earlier would have had a birthday Wed. 12.10.08.In talking with Marianne several times,Alexander's sister, he was so proud of how large this site had grown and also the regular threads and posts from members and visitors. This is a worldwide site that I can tell you from the many other sites I frequent, could not "hold a candle" as they say, to ours. Thanks to all and from me and mine, to you and yours all the very best over the holiday season.
