    Some Dummy

I don't know when or where it happened but some dummy bent the bottom of his oil pan up about 2" and this winter he is going to have to replace it, I must have a mistery driver who takes my car out after midnight!

you can never be a politician if you fear of lying....

As for the car...we've all done things like that. It's part of the learning curve.
Fix it and drive on...luckily it wasn't worse!!

Until you fix it make sure you didn't hit the pick up tube and move it. Been there lost my oil pressure. And I DID NOT say that..........Bill

Bob as Casey says fix it and move on. One of these days we should start up a thread about the idiotic things we ALL have done in the past with our classics. I am sure it will be a good read and a lot of chuckles.

Well, I'm not sure why I putting this out to the public, but I put about a 2" dent in the roof of my effie this summer. Was backing up close to a maple tree by the barn, up a very slight grade, when it wasn't moving gave it some gas and crunch - didn't see a low branch that didn't move.....................

                Makes you feel pretty stupid.

On the bright side it's on the top and you can't really see it.

Well, this past weekend I was pulling my car into the garage. In the attempt to get it tucked in nice and tight to the corner of the garage I dragged the passenger door bullet along the garage door opening.

Thankfully, I did more damage to the house than the car. No sheetmetal deformation, just some house paint on the door. Nothing a little rubbing or polishing compound won't fix.

                  Still, annoying though.

DGS that's something that I think at one point or another we all have done. I remember, a couple of years ago when I had the 58 out for a chooch when pulling in to park,I grazed the passenger front bumper end along the car that was parked beside my entry. I couldn't find who owned the car so I left my business card, for them to call me and I mean, I am talking a tiny scratch on their back quarter panel. After the call and the voice, it was a fire captain buddy of mine and $100.00 later, solved. It just goes to show how WIDE we need to swing into the spaces.
