    Vice Grips

Hi Gang. Ode To " Vice Grips"

They are equally adept as a wrench, hammer, pliers, baling wire twister,breaker-off of frozen bolts and generally wiggle-it-til-it-falls off tool. The heavy artlillery and the most versatile items of your tool box. The vise grip, is the only tool designed to expressly fix things that others have srewed up beyond repair.

      You're not wrong (:
Funnily enough I used a pair just last night to grip the end of the threaded stud on my '62's front shocks while I undid the bottom nut - using the correct wrench on the nut of course.

Those wide flanged vice grips are great for sheetmetal work.

I saw a website somewhere, some bloke paints vice grips up like various critters, frames them and sells them at swap meets and the like as works of art. Very cool and creative.

The NAVY taught me to fix all things with hammers.

If it does not fit get a bigger Hammer

Ah the old cable ties, well that's another one to ode at a later date. I had forgotten about them.
