What is just as cool is learning recently that in 1935 Tucker partnered with Harry Miller (the McClaren of his day) in a racing car proposal with FoMoCo. Ten innovative cars were to be designed to dominate the Indianapolis 500.
Tucker pitched the deal to Edsel Ford in February, just three months before the race.
