For those of you who are not members of the Vintage Thunderbird Club, International (VTCI), as I and many others on here are, you are missing out on an excellent 15 page report in the Scoop magazine, This edition covers the Ford Wixom Plant, where our early Tbirds were built, and the 2002-2005 Retrobirds, before they closed down the plant. It is a very good article, with some good pictures also. In addition to that, there is, as there usually always is, a very good Technical Article also. This one about Flairbirds. You should consider supporting the VTCI and its Chapter clubs. The Scoop is mailed out 6 times a year and is well worth the cost of VTCI membership. Hi Ray,

Thanks for the heads up on the article. I had just received my copy of The Scoop in the mail but hadn't torn into
it yet. Loved reading about Wixom and sorry to have seen it's passing, sure wish something good could have
gone on inside the once vibrant and amazing assembly plant. At least we still get articles and pictures of where
our birds were born. Thanks again and sure hope others will sign up and support VTCI.
