    The Best Of Times!.......

More than likely every generation believes they grew up in the Best of Times. But, without question, the best songs come from the 1950's and 1960's time frames.

Those of us that grew up at this time grew up in the best of times. Want to experience what I mean? Just watch this video all the way through. These were my teenage years.

This is such a great video... So, enjoy it. For those of you who experienced the iconic 1950's, a decade that will never be repeated....The cars are fantastic. The music was so wonderful, romantic, nostalgic, magical.... We were rich and did not know it! We were innocent and thought we were experienced. We were very fortunate to have lived in such an era. Enjoy the past as revealed here. Who knows what the future will bring?

P.s. The secrets out! They actually show where the gas filler is on a 56 Chevy!
    Turn up your speakers…

The Best Of Times is a memorable look back at the 1950's and 1960's and should be entertaining to watch for anyone that grew up in that era.

THIS IS A MUST SEE FOR EVERYONE THAT LIVED IN THE FORTIES, FIFTIES AND SIXTIES, AND ALL THOSE THAT WERE NOT FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE THERE.

Ah, the memories. I'm a 1946 baby, & yes I was in the thick of those things in the '50s & '60s. Used to go "ROCK N ROLLING" on Thursdays & Saturdays in 1963 in my '56 Ford Customline, my first car picked it up for $200. Cruising the main drag in the City, arm hanging out the door with my Elvis Pompadour. Those were the days.

Hi Chris, I am glad you enjoyed watching that. Like you, I lived through that era.. The early 50's found me joining the Air Force, and the latter 50's found me meeting and marrying Faye, who also liked the same music as I did, and we grew up together on it into the 60's.. So I figured that a lot our membership also did too, and would enjoy seeing this...

Loved it Ray. The opening scenes made me immediately think of American Bandstand with Dick Clark. That video will be timeless.

Thanks, Nyles! Like you, I also thought of American Bandstand and Dick Clark, which I used to also watch. BTW, don't forget that there is a Part 2 and a Part 3 of this video. Just click on the link to Part 2 and then it will also take you to Part 3...

Ray also thanks for posting this video as it took us all " back in time" to the days of less stress and most of us our formulative teenage years. That music has a way of reminding us of what we were doing, who we hung out with and the good times we had
