  • Okie dustbowl

I went to a classic car auction yesterday and while I was there, the wind picked up - 50 mph+ - and blew some dirt up fromo Texas. The attached pics show the inside of my NEW shop after I got home last night. I just spent over 9 hours emptying the shop and cleaning the Bird. Unreal.

I guess you need a way to seal the door and the windows better from the dust. We don't have problems like that here in New York.

I only have one man-door and 2 overhead doors - no windows.
This stuff even made it into the house.

It was just a coincidence that the farmer next to me plowed his field right before this front moved thru from the west - the wind NEVER blows here from the west.

I guess I prefer living in the country with a lot of land vs in the city with a lot of people - even with the fluke dust storm every now and then.
However, my opinion was vastly different from this Saturday night when I opened the shop door.
