The Pageant of the Thunderbird car show was held in Anaheim, California, on Aug. 16, 2017. This is the first car show I ever entered and took First Place in the Big Bird category and my friend Kirby also entered his convertible, and took Second Place in the Open category. It was great that Kirby made the show as we put his engine and transmission back in his car the prior Saturday. Our cars are identical, except for being a hardtop and convertible. Had a great time at the show. I'll include a couple pictures of the show cars in a follow up post.
