Let 239 years of freedom ring.

Today, by the Grace of God, the United States of America celebrates her 239th year of independence. It did not come easy as many of our residents lost their lives to this victorious end. It could not be achieved without our guns or the guts to use them. The fireworks we display remind us of long battles and our tenacious patriots who loved American freedom and fought to preserve it for their children and all Americans.

God has blessed America with people from all over the world. We have gleaned their best customs into a melting pot that produced the mightiest and most compassionate nation in the world. We do not have an official language or an official religion because many languages are spoken here, including our native people's languages.

Is the USA perfect? No country is but every time I travel abroad and see different lands I literally kiss the ground when I get back home on American soil.

Happy Birthday, America. Let freedom ring in every ear.
