Cleaning up the "Man-Cave" yesterday and came across a letter from Alexander. Included was a Squarebird windhield decal. I took a bunch of pics yesterday, especially since I went out and started / moved Raven for the 1st time in about 6 months.
Hi Mike! Wowww. That's a keeper! It is still hard to believe he and Sandy are both gone. Dave put up the tribute graphics to them on the Home page, at the beginning of this month, in memory to both of them. Raven is looking great, as always!
Thanks, Ray. So while organizing a lot of "stuff" down in the cave, I forgot about things I hadn't looked at in a while. I always had a dream car, a yellow '55 Bird with a black and white interior and 3 sp. manual (when I win the Lottery)... I do have this interesting plastic model with a surprise under the hood.
Now that is neat, Mike! I hope when you do hit the lottery and get your "Dream" Tbird, that the engine is not in the dash and the radio in the engine bay!
Funny you mentioned the letter from Alexander, as on the weekend I found the original box that Alexander sent me of the " window decals " that he had made and sent me for the members. He certainly would be proud of how the squarebird site has grown.
Of course... 1977 Technics receiver and turntable with Pioneer HPM speakers I bought new. I still have 300 or so vinyl records.
I like the older stuff. Here's my land phone. Globe lights up when ringing in case the music is too loud ! Must be Canadian, it's in Liters rather than Gallons.
Man cave is in basement. Shop's in the garage (more of a barn)
