  • Alexander's new paint job?

I saw this and wondered if Alexander repainted his Bird and didn't tell us!

That is a pretty nice paint job. I have always been a fan of flame paint schemes.

I particularly like the yellow over-spray in the wheel well. ha

I recently saw a '60 Bird that was black with blood-red "ghost flames". They were very subtle and well done. The black paint was normal paint but the dark red flames were metallic. It made that car look baaad (as in good). Everything else on the exterior (emblems and such) was stock but the flames made it look like a custom rod or something. I liked it!!

Yanno, until you mentioned it, I hadn't noticed that!

I'd love to see a pic of that!

I've come to the conclusion that my best bet for my Bird, is to make a street rod out of her.

I know I know .. some of you are probably http://www.nfl-world.com/forums/imag...es/shocked.gif and some are going http://www.nfl-world.com/forums/images/smilies/261.gif But I'm not talking about doing anything wild and crazy. Just mild stuff.

The BIGGEST reason is if I go that route, I can stop obsessing over all the little details that right now, are making me http://www.nfl-world.com/forums/imag...ies/aargh4.gif http://www.nfl-world.com/forums/images/smilies/rant.gif and http://www.nfl-world.com/forums/imag...s/banghead.gif

The thing is, she'll never ever be up to snuff for being restored, or original. And I really really wanna paint her Black Cherry!
