I have a good friend in California who loves cars as I do. SHE used to drive a 1960 Austin Healey 3000, a Datsun 240-Z and a Pontiac Firebird Convertible with a 450ci engine! She is also a good mechanic and when it came time to work on her cars, she would be right there under the hood working with her mechanics. When she brought them in for service she could pretty well tell them what she thought was wrong. They would throw her a grease rag and say lets find out whats going on here. Now that she is somewhat up in years, and no longer has those cars, she lets the professionals take care of her car now. Her daughter has inherited her mechanical abilities also, and does her own car repairs.
We had been swapping pix back and forth, including the pix I posted here recently of the cars that did not make it to production. In the course of doing so, she expressed her love of the Excalibur and others and sent me a link to the Excalibur that is gonna knock your socks off! The owner of these two Excalibur's lives in the Dallas area, I gather, There are a lot of high quality pictures to see, his personal comments on the cars, and a lot of links to click on. You will probably spend a lot of time on these links! Enjoy a couple of fantastic looking classic cars, the Excalibur III & IV!
