Here are some '50's Ford/Lincoln/Mercury cars that never made it to the production line. In some cases, it is to bad they did not because there are some I would have considered buying in a heartbeat! The '55 Ford Mystere is one of them. For some others, no way and that includes the '58 Ford X-2000 The Beast! Enjoy the pix!

Of the Ford, Lincoln, Mercury cars, I really liked Pic #3, the '55 Ford Mystere. I thought it was a really cool looking car. I also liked Pic #5, the '55 Lincoln Futura.

The Lincoln Futura was converted into the Batmobile for the 1966 TV Series.
