I wish to start a Memorial Fund from all our Forum members and friends of Sandy Block-SandyBoy, who was our only remaining Founding Member, for his widow, Karen. Those of you who wish to contribute can do so by sending your donation to my PayPal account, rayclark07@gmail.com or by sending me your personal check. If you need my mailing address email or PM me. Make sure you have the PayPal account correct and also indicate that the donation is for the Sandy Block-SandyBoy Memorial Fund. I will accept donations for two weeks and after that, send the funds received to Karen as a Memorial gift from our Squarebirds.org membership. We feel that it is a bit to late to send flowers because he passed a couple of months ago, but we just recently found this out. Thank you to those who have already contributed and will! It is much appreciated!

Sandy was Alexander's good friend. Together with Driller, SandyBoy was instrumental in setting up squarebirds.org. Sandy Block was a real American who was proud to report that he never owned a foreign car.

We only have 6 days left to the deadline of the 15th that I set for contributions to the SandyBoy Memorial Fund. So far, I have received 5 donations totaling $125. They are from Dave Dare, Richard Hord, Jed Zimmerman and Eric Taylor and myself. We would certainly appreciate it if others also would like to contribute. Please do so before the 16th. Sandy Block-SandyBoy Memorial

It is not to late to contribute to the Sandy Block Memorial fund. I am still taking donations. I decided to wait awhile longer because of the low response. It is good that I did because I just received another donation, this one from Peter Bowden in the UK. So if you would like to contribute, please do so quickly, as I should close this out and get this completed. So far, $175 has been contributed.

I sent the donations received to Karen, Sandy's widow, along with a letter and a card. Total donations were $150, not $175. I miscounted when I last posted the amount. Karen has told me that it appears there is a buyer for Sandy's two McLaren's, but his beautiful Caddy is still available. I will post information on it in the For Sale Forum later. Thanks for the donations!
