Ray, you pack a lot into this question. I don't know which part you're talking about.
    Kelsey booster?
    Fitted to; what year T-bird?

Sounds like he has an olio of years and cars mixed up. Basically, Granada/Verasilles/Mustang spindles fit on Squarebirds.

Brackets can be bought to fit Squarebird spindles that use Camaro/S10/Cadillac/Buick/Oldsmobile/Pontiac calipers and brake hoses. You know the drill because you just had your T-bird retrofit two weeks ago.

I don't know what would fit '66 Mustang spindles, but some of the disk brake companies do. Hope this helps, but the question is far too ambiguous. - Dave

      I think ...

he's referring to the the 4 piston calipers. I'm not sure on interchange info, but there are much better options out there as these are large and heavy and are prone to leak, and are not easy to get parts for. Unless they are needed for some sort rules limited vintage racing I would look for something like the late model mustang stuff. Mike

Yes, as the 65/67 MUSTANG came through with the KH system. The trick was to use FORD/MERC/TBIRD calipers and rotors as they were larger.

This is an opposing four piston non-sliding caliper that will bring greater force onto the rotor over the sliding caliper design.

A Disc Brake & Mustang Question

Brian is in Adelaide, Australia and not a member of the Forum yet. He tried to register so he could communicate with us, but it would not work for him. I sent him step by step instructions on registering. Hopefully, he will figure it out. Here is what he had to say further.

"Hi Ray, Again thanks for Your Reply. Looked at Answers on Forum, Please thank Guys for Them. Tried to Register, but did not Understand. Here in Adelaide, South Australia, We have very Strict Laws for L/H drive Cars. To receive Registration, these have to Be 95% STOCK, Even to Factory Colors !! My 66 Mustang Coupe, has front drum brakes, Which I would like to Replace with Disc brakes. The Kelsey Hayes were Factory stock on '66, So I am Trying to Locate these. Original K/H fitted to Mustangs, seem Quite Rare, So am Looking at other Fords??, Fitted with K/H and to See if they will fit Mustang Spindles. K/H Kits to Include, Hubs+,Rotors, Calipers, Caliper Brackets, Dust Shield Cover Plates. Hope this all Makes Sense, With a better Explanation of My Search!! Cheers Brian. Again Please Thank Guys for Their Time to Reply!!"

Yup, the Aussies have it tought alright.

Here you could drop a blown 460 into your '66 Mustang, fit the biggest brakes you wanted, tub the rear end etc and still use it as a daily driver if you wanted. (And could afford the gas!)
