Thank You for really GOOD info, Jim. I'm going to print these pages and laminate them for my garage.
Screw dimensions are confusing. I grew up using SAE course and fine fasteners but when I pick up an 'unknown' screw, it's nice to compare it against the metric chart.
Our old classics use bolts that we rarely see any more, like 7/16" engine mount, flex plate, or bell housing bolts. ARP makes a ton of money selling them in 'sets' (quality bolts, but very expensive). 3/8"-24 X 3/4" is another bolt commonly found on all classic Ford cars, but we're lucky to find one in today's stores.
