Yesterday, I visited Danny's shop, who did the interior on Rose. They have several classic cars there that they are presently working on. He said that they have been very busy. They have a '57 4dr Burgundy Chevy they are doing the interior on now. This is one gorgeous car! I used to own a '57 Fire Engine Red Chevy many years ago. It was my second car. Wish I still had it! Here are some pix to enjoy, and I will probably have to do this in two posts. Some of the pix are slightly out of focus because I must have moved the camera some when shooting. But you can still see how everything looks.

Very nice! Funny, we were driving around in Washington yesterday and I seen one sitting by the road for sale! She looked very nice also. Burgundy with a white top. One of the nicest Chevy's ever made!

Ray, a few years back a panel-beater (body man?) mate of mine made a 4-door '57 into a two door (They only ever sold 4-doors new in NZ) AND roof-chopped it, had a narrowed rear end with w-i-d-e tyres, custom alloy grille etc etc..
He painted it EXACTLY the colour of the one you show abaove.
After a few years he got bored with it and, wait for it, 'unchopped' it!A Thunderbirder from the Land of the Long White Cloud.Comment
