Thinking of you and all those in the frozen northern hemisphere as I take my Thunderbird out a bit over the next few days - it will be in the 80's, great cruising weather - wish I had air at time though!A Thunderbirder from the Land of the Long White Cloud. -

That's right, Jon. The full size fords had a wheelbase of 118" w/overall length of 208". This was Henry's idea of THE Ford family car every American should have in his driveway. There is loads of room in the back and trunk areas. Six grown men would feel very comfy in this car. Four kids in the back seat was commonplace.
Engines included a six, Y-Block or FE (352) coupled with either a manual or automatic trans.
This Fairlane shows red lenses in his backup light housings. That's a new one on me.

Who wants to tell what they recieved as holiday gifts?
I got a can of Souverne by Pinnacle car wax (My favorite) whch is $100.00
and some clothes. My wife got s very nice loooong scarf and money.
My son gave me a bottle of BLV Cologne. I also go a 2012 MUSTANG Calendar wall mount type and a ditto dest calendar, from him.Comment
