  • Back in the World

Whew, what a joy it is to be back in civilization!

For those who have never visited any of the Muslim/Arab 3rd world countries, just a tip. Don't bother!! NOT a good place to vacation.

My wife actually expects me to fix things like broken toilets and garbage disposals. Can you imagine that?

Thanks to all for the good wishes for the trip.

I am really looking forward to playing in the garage - after enough on the "honey-do" list is done to keep me out of the dog house.

If there is anyone else on here from the Norfolk, VA Beach area give me a shout and we maybe can catch up and do some car stuff together.

Oh yeah, big treat tonight- a GOOD pizza and now that I am allowed to drink beer, I might have one or two.

Thanks Jim and welcome back. A good pizza might take more than 2 beers to wash it down, Cheers.

Thanks for all the well wishes!

It is GOOD to be back.

That's not a bad place to make a few quick bucks but not good for much else. I did my "Patriotic" duty in Viet Nam. I just went to Iraq for the $.

Yea, milk too. The best milk I have ever had was in Australia. The Gold Cap with the cream on top was the BEST ever. (In the mornings, RSLs at night. )

Still have some Coronas in the fridge. Just nice to know that if I want one I can and not be "commanded" not to by a Theocratic culture that thinks it is a sin to drink a beer but not to beat your "wives" (read: personal female slaves). Nuff Politics.

Best of the Holidays to all here. What a good bunch of buddies to run with this is.

                    You sure have that right!!

No doubt with all the time you spent in the US that you were glad to get back to your fjord. Water one that is, not the mechanical one.
