Alexander's Birthday Is Today

Today, we celebrate the birthday of our Squarebirds Forum founder, Alexander Sosiak. Those who knew him loved him, especially his family and those who knew him well. We, who knew him, all miss him. When I assumed the operation of this Forum after his passing, I dedicated myself to continuing his Forum in a manner that he and Sandy ~ Sandyboy would be proud of. With the help of our able Administrators and Moderators working behind the scenes, and our very capable webmaster, Dave Dare ~ simplyconnected, we will continue to honor his memory. I was pleased recently to receive the thanks of Julie Sosiak, his widow, and his sister, Marianne Sosiak for our continued support and operation of his Forum. They tell me that they know Alexander would be pleased.

In the beginning.....

When Alex & I began to design and establish our two sites, and we helped one & other as much as possible and when all was said & done, and we were "on line" ~ this be many moons ago, NOBODY CAME !

Alex knew nothing regarding asc/McLaren Mustangs & Merc. Capris and Sandy (that's me) only knew what a 58, 59 & '60 T-Bird looked like.

So, Alex would e-mail me questions to ask the "panel" (Alex WAS "the panel" and I would e-mail questions regarding the asc/McLaren(s).

Then each of us would post on the other's site with our "questions".

Finally when we got 2 or 3 parties (on each site) we'd would slow down a bit, and let the others have a say. It took a while but it caught on for both of us.

I had no knowledge as to how to design a site, so I paid for that for mine.. which took mucho $$ but, later on, we won awards for the site Alexander was a very honest and had high standards as well as high morals. I enjoy his site, even without a Square-Bird.
But....Without Ray, this site woulda crashed long ago. We all (Sandy especially) owe a special thank you to Ray. For your dedication, help, friendship, fairness and interest to this cars dedicated followers.
A very Merry Christmas, continued health and for all your do on this site.

I agree, Sandy. Ray is truly amazing and he carefully screens new members, keeping this site friendly and unique.
