                Thank You!!

Thank you all for what you have done and said! The flowers were received and very much appreciated. I have received so many emails from you, from all around the world, and really appreciate the sentiments and condolences expressed in them. The hard part is behind us now and now it is time for adjusting to our loss. She was much loved by so many. My wife, Faye and her had a very strong bond between them, and it was very hard on Christy when we lost her. Christy spent nearly every weekend with us in her youth. We would meet Clint or Leslie half way on Friday evenings and pick her up for the weekend and take her back on Sunday nights. While she was with us, we spoiled her, of course. We were proud of her accomplishments, graduating from high school, taking technical courses in medical office training. She wanted to work in a doctor's office. Learning how to drive! She was about to have her own properly equipped minivan to drive. She accomplished a lot despite having been born with spina bifida, severe curvature of the spine and paralysis below the waist.

My family have all returned safely to their homes and my house is quiet again, though I would rather it not be. It was good to hear the sounds of my family in the house, and the smell of great food wafting through the house again. Thank you again for all you have said and done. It touches our hearts.
