Ah, great stuff - not so many years ago that track was open after each days practice and you could drive it in your road car. It still is a public road after the race weekend and speeds are strictly 35mph all the way around. I have been there for the "Great Race" plenty of times, and many a young man lost more than his share of bravado at the top of the mountain where people set up a tent city for the week of racing. It is the scariest track I have ever driven around but I am sure the old Nurburgring would give it a run for its money!!
The fact that kangaroos can jump onto the track at any given time also increases the degree of difficulty as well.
