'59 Funny Bird

While visiting Jim Wulf's Tbird Garage website, I ran across this '59 Squarebird with bubble cruiser skirts, a port hole, and a paint job similar to that on my Rose. Here is the link.

Look closely - that porthole isn't real, it's airbrushed.

I like those bubble skirt better than the red one that as posted elsewhere. They seem to fit better. But for my taste, less is more. To much add on glitz when these cars have plenty of style on their own.

My only problem with the fenderskirts is they donīt line up with the "torpedo". Painted porthole is not my cup of tea and I donīt think the flames did the car any favour either, but the rest is GREAT!
