As Cathie ~ Coral would say, "that is kewl" or something like that. I like that chrome bar over the top and the bubble cruiser fender skirts. That is the second Squarebird I have seen them on now and that gets me to thinking again about Rose! I like some of the other customizing he has done also. Richard, do you have anymore pix of this car? If so, please post them.
Thanks for posting the additional pix, Richard. I like the way he did the hood, although I am not sure about the louvres. I am trying to figure out what those two dark circles are right below the window vent on the drivers side. Also am trying to figure out which year it is. From the looks of the grill, it is a '60. It also looks like he did something to the tail light assembly also. I really do like the chrome piece over the top and down the fins. I think that really sets it off. One of the Full Sized Fords had that back then, if I remember correctly. I thought he had high back seats in the front and I see them better now, with the head rests. It would be interesting to see what the engine bay looks like and the interior.. Got any more pix??
Thanks for posting the additional pix, Richard. At least now I know it is a '60 Squarebird, or appears to be from the interior. The installaton of the side panels could have been done a lot better. There are a lot of wrinkles in it. Interesting interior addition of the chrome pieces across the interior roof and down the insides. I am glad you could show us the engine bay also. I see it has the under the hood booster instead of the KH unit under the dash. I wonder how old this customization is? Interesting pix and thanks for the posts! Any idea what the Data Plate/VIN # is? It would be good to see if it is in the Tbird Registry.

You do remember correctly, Ray. The 1955 Ford Crown Victoria had the 'Easter Basket Handle' (inside and out) just like this car.
Some '55's had the dark green glass tops, too. - Dave
Thanks for posting that pic, Dave! I thought I remembered one of the old Fords having that feature. That is a purty Ford Crown Vic! I have never heard that chrome piece called the "Easter Basket Handle", but I can see why it could be called that! But then I have not been around classic cars anywhere near as long as you have!

Canīt understand why the T-bird owner didnīt look closer to the Crown Victoria, and mounted that handle bar 4" more forward, where the door is ending, and by that avoid the strange triangle inbetwen. Would have worked waaay better with the rest of the lines of the front vindow and the roof.

He probably did not want to modify door glass!
