Think its been better part of a year that I been inactive on Squarebird forum. Was doing house, yard, travel, model building, hamster, mother inlaw care stuff. Anyway - is Spring and car time too. Boils down to being late and not receiving first ever Squarebird calendar until today.
WOW - Between pictures on forum and in calendar, must say I appreciate everyones efforts at Thunderbird preservation and modification. So fortunate to have lived in 50s & 60s when cars of character were made (likely never again). Had to have been there to grasp significance of their place in culture/society. To me, each model of each car type was an individual personality on same stage with jet age, space age, entertainment, music, economics, etc.... characters of the era.
What thrill and honor to see my Tbird on a calendar with other Thunderbirds.

Squarebird Calendar
Thank you, Jed! That is a good idea you have there. Anyone else who might want an extra calendar from the year their Tbird was featured in it, should post and let us know. Maybe someone has one they might want to donate to you. In fact, if someone has a 2009 calendar and would like to turn it loose, I have a use for it.Leave a comment:

Guest repliedRay, As always, very nice job on these 2012 Bird calendars. As to the great number of Squares pictured, I can say that "Squarebird Rule"!
Looking forward to hanging my new calendar up where the 2011 one is now. Last year I made known that my 2010 calendar was still in pristine condition and was available free to those that wanted an old calendar to save. Jay Bancroft scooped it up as his Square was pictured in the 2010 calendar. So in January of 2012 I'll post to "anything goes" that I have the 2011 calendar available to someone who wants it.
Turned out that Jay and Rita drove up from IA to MN to deliver their Bird's front seats to me. I then cut new foams and re-upholstered the leather covers back onto the frames and new foam.Leave a comment:

Ray,
Received my calendar over the weekend. Thank you very much for the work you did on them and all you do for the site. The calendars are great and the vehicles in them are inspiring. Time to get out in the garage and get working on the ol' bird again.Leave a comment:

Squarebirds Calendar
For anyone who has their new 2012 Squarebirds Calendar, take a look at February, featuring Richard & Dee Dee's Squarebird. Richard told me this morning that he and Dee Dee built that fantastic house together and it took them almost three years to do it. You will enjoy the house as well as his beautiful Squarebird! Normally, I tell people to find a simple background, like trees, or something that does not detract from the car. However, in this case, it was such a magnificent picture and color that it made the Tbird really stand out I thought.Leave a comment:

2012 Squarebird Calendars
I have put some 30 2012 Squarebirds Calendars in the mail today, US and Overseas. All calendars that have been paid for have been mailed. If you have not made payment yet, please do, so I can mail yours to you. I hope that you will enjoy the calendar.
This year, there was a lack of Bulletbird and Flairbird cars to choose from, so there will be a fair number of Squarebirds featured. Those of you who own Bulletbirds and Flairbirds and have not had your Tbird considered or featured in the calendar, please send me some big, good quality pictures this coming year so that I can consider yours for next years calendar. There will be one or two nice surprises that I think ya'll will enjoy when you see that picture.
It is not to late to order a calendar if you have not done so. Read the post at the top of the Forum in the General Announcements Forum for details.
Some of you might see your calendars in your mailbox this weekend! Please let me know what you think of it. I try to do the best I can.
Be advised that there is at least one other person using Gmail and PayPal that has the same name as I do. This was born out recently when one of our members sent his PayPal payment to rayclark@gmail.com. My PayPal account name is rayclark07@gmail.com. So make sure any payments go to that account and not rayclark@gmail.com. Action is being taken to try to recover that payment.Leave a comment:
