Since you are TX, Amos Mintner or E-Bay will be a good starting point for the parts, especially the wheel. The air duct is nicely reproduced in fiberglass - original steel ones in good condition will be expensive but should be available, but I too would prefer steel. Air cleaners are avail in chrome or stainless and are excellent, possibly nicer and cheaper than replating an original, just depends. Not an impossible list, just need to look in the right places. Thanks, Joe. Being not new to the parts searches for classic vehicles my experiences are that places like Minter, Hill's, Levy, etc are on the heavy side of expensive. I do have a duct spotted that needs some work (not round from an accident) but I was hoping for one that is intact at a reasonable price. The after market air cleaner lids are shiny but lack the detail of originals. I know....I bought one. I do have the original air cleaner lid that has four or five chrome imperfections and a 6" soft spot that the plater fears will come apart. Regarding the rims I think I found four correct originals today but are out of state.

Ray is correct. A member named Redbow from Texas sent me an original air cleaner lid, Stefan is shipping me an original air duct that needs minor work, and J. R. Bailey shipped me four correct K-H rims. The Squarebird site is the most productive Thunderbird site.

Hi Scott! Great! I am glad Joe and I could help! That is good news. Thanks for the kudo's! Didja get your calendars yet? If not, they should be showing up soon! Ohh, I see they just shipped yesterday, so it will be awhile before they show up! In fact, the last 7 orders just shipped over the last 3 days.
