BACKUP LIGHTS & HORNS

Good morning Ladies & Gentlemen - New to SB, first time questions.

I have a 1966 Q-code Town Landau I finally got running, but now chipping away at a number of electrical issues.

Referring to the 1966 FORD THUNDERBIRD SHOP MANUAL, GROUP SEC 22, FIG.2, wiring schematics on Page 22-2 for "Exterior Lighting, Turn Signals, and Horns":

Question #1; BACKUP LIGHTS - Where does the Black-Red Wire #140 terminate?
Schematic shows four wires (including #140) coming out of the 8-connector block, but only three coming in. From where does wire #140 come ?

Question #2; HORNS -
(a.) What color is the 12-volt feed wire #482?
(b.) From where does the Horn Button get its power?

Have searched wiring schematics and cannot find either.
Hoping one of you Electrical Experts can direct me -

I have a feeling that after it leaves the neutral switch the backup light wire #140 gets jumpered to wire #11 in the connector block and goes to the headlight switch where it gets power. Normally the horn button has two wires, black and yellow. The yellow wire goes to the fuse box to get power. The black wire goes to the horns.

Thanks so much John, I will re-study my schematics.

Interestingly they do not show a Backup Light Switch, which confused me at first.
My thought was that the Neutral Safety Switch is actually one with the B/U Light Switch, mounted on the tranny.
The E-Brake release switch on lower steering column has four electrical contacts on it along with the diaphragm, but no apparent wires to it.
There are two flat connector GRN/BLK wires just hanging down short of dash cross bracket that test out to be ground wires from above
the instrument panel in addition to a short dark colored female barrel-type connector that tests hot w/ ignition on, coming from a loom above.

As for the Horns, I suspect that the black wire goes up thru the column to the buttons and is grounded?
And there must be a horn relay somewhere? No relay shown on these schematics, nor is there a horn power supply wire shown .

The neutral switch is on the transmission on C6's. The switch on the steering column is used exclusively for vacuum to the emergency brake. As I mentioned the black wire from the horn button goes to the horns and the yellow wire to the fuse box. There is no horn relay to my knowledge. There would be no need for one as the yellow wire is fuse protected. There is also no need for a ground wire as the horns are grounded to the body.

Actually all starting to make sense with what I see under this dashboard.

Keep in mind with some of these older cars , No back up lights during the day so light switch has to be on .
