Rear trim removal to get to window mechanism.

My rear roll up window is stuck in the down position. I need to get to the mechanism and have to remove the body trim panel What is the correct way to do this? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you have to remove the rear seats to get to the trim panel. You definitely have to at least remove the bottom seat cushion. If it's a roll up window and not power then you have to use a door handle removal tool to remove the window crank handle. Hopefully it's just a matter of regreasing the regulator. However, many times the old channel felt rips and wedges the window and it won't move. In that case you have to remove the channel and replace the felt. As always I recommend getting a copy of the shop manual as it will save you time and headaches along the way.

I have one on order but was curious to hear from someone who might have done it. Thanks.
