    Unknown Radiator

I recently purchased a 65 Mustang and am acquiring parts and info etc. Along with the car came a radiator of unknown origin. I was able to track the part #
to a chart that came up from this forum. So I'm wondering what it's from and if anyone might want it. It is part # C2DE 8005 E. Is it even a Tbird part?

It is a 1962 part but not a Thunderbird. Most likely something 6 cylinder like a Falcon or Fairlane.

It could be a radiator for a '62 truck or van. I have to find out what body is designated 'D' (as in C2D).

Thanks for the info guys, I think it's a truck or van also. Looks like a 4 core rad.

This site gives a great breakdown of the Ford numbering system.
Ford and Mustang Intake manifold. 4V, 2x4v, 3x2v, Ford Mustang Mercury Tunderbird Galaxie Torino Fairlane Cougar Eliminator Boss Cobra Jet Tunderbolt and Shelby.

The "D" designation is usually Falcon/Maverick but it can be used for other models.

The Maverick was introduced on April 17, 1969, as a 1970 model, so this radiator is probably not for a Maverick.
The name, 'Falcon' debuted in the US in 1960 but by '62, Australia had their own Falcon. So, this radiator may match one of those cars.

I would bet that this radiator fits a domestic 1960-65 Falcon or a '65-66.Mustang. - Dave
