top up/down switch on 63 bullet bird.

    yes i had heard of this. problem to me thou is that it is better to have ;your engine running when activating the top as the top mechanism draws a ot of current, thus you need to start the car which voids the remote control idea. my need was to work the top from the trunk with a switch so one could manually move things in or out or up and down to trouble shoot malfunctions.

    Have you considered one of these? It allows you to operate the top from up to 100 feet away.
