What tool do you use to remove the door handles?
I have the conventional tools, but they don't seem to work. Can't get the clip to pop off. The tool in the manual is different than the ones I have.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance,
    Larry

This is the tool I've always used. Make sure you get it in between the handle and the plastic ring if there is one. You have to insert it from the front of the handle not the back.

That's the same tool I have. Never had a problem with it before on other cars. I'll have to try again

Sometimes the handle is just stuck even after the clip is released. Try pulling on it with some force.

I've experienced where the clip was inserted upside down by the previous person. If the correct way results in failure try from the other end. With a blunt tool you can compress the door panel and have a look at the clip./

I compressed the panel and I couldn't see any clips. Looks like the PO epoxied the handle on!! WTH! Don't know what I'm gonna do now
