  • 60 Electrical Assembly Manual

Anyone know if this manual is available anywhere to buy as a digital download? Don't really want to wait 2 weeks for it to arrive if it is available to download.

Steve, I have spent the last 3 hours calling every company I can find that markets that bookd, in manual or .pdf form, in an attempt to see who has that manual. Finally, the Bird Nest just opened and I called my old standby Don, about this there. Here is what he told me. You cannot find anyone who has that 1960 Thunderbird Electrical Assembly Manual in .pdf or digital format because Osborn Co., who makes them, do not make them in that format. Just book format. I tried to call them to verify that, but they are not open on Monday! Surprisingly... Now, I have something else to tell you and I will do so in a PM.

Thanks, Henry! Perhaps one of those might help him. I am sure Steve knows that the TRL has the 1960 Wiring Diagrams in it. But, apparently, he needs more than that, and has a need for the entire Electrical Wiring Assembly book... It is to bad Osborn does not make them available in .pdf format. I did talk with them yesterday, and they did confirm that they only have them in printed format.

Thanks Henry - I haven't seen those on the tbirdranch site. I do have the wiring diagrams from the TRL and various other sources. The best diagrams for someone as inexperienced as me have been from Birdsnest site where they have very detailed diagrams of the actual harness, connectors and where the go to. There just seems to be one missing which is the one I want and can't find anywhere. I have ordered the book from Tbird HQ and Mike has kindly taken quick pics of the pages that I want. My profile might say apprentice, but Im still at pre-apprentice level and bluffing my way through this whole build. Thanks for your help everyone as always. I'll have a new question coming soon about my steering column

Steve, I am pleased to hear that Mike at Tbird Hqs was able to provide you with the needed copies that you can put to use while you wait for the entire book to get there. If I had kept that book I could have posted those pages for ya, but when I sold "Tweety Bird" all the manuals went with her.

Steve, what portion are you missing? What portion of your system are you working on?
