    Phase II Front Disc Brake Conversion

    My 1960 T-Bird front disc brake conversion. 11'' inch ford aerostar rotors & hubs , ford galaxy grease seals , ford mustang inner bearings , ford ranger out bearings , chevy celebrity brake calipers & pads, cadillac eldorado brake hose , 3/16 cunnifer copper nickel brake line tubing , scarebird brackets , all fit with original 14'' wheels. Phase I had the corvette master cylinder / with 8 '' dual booster. Phase III will be rear drums and completion of brake line tubing .

    You're going to love this braking system. Our '59 Fordor Galaxie has similar and I love it. Braking is just like a modern car.
    BTW, I didn't hear anything about a combination proportioning valve. You need one.
    I also use self adjusters for the rear brake shoes.

    Can you show pictures of the back side of your front brakes?

    My two-stage 8" booster is paired with a 1" Master cylinder. What did you use for a firewall bracket? Can you take pictures? - Dave

      GM combination proportioning valve , see Phase I posting for brake booster .

        BTW -- Did front disc conversion on '60 Tbird 3-4 years ago. Don't recall parts particulars but results are great.

          Disc brakes are much better now, car stops safely
