'57 thunderbird electrical woes

hey everyone

ive got a '57 ford thunderbird and im at my wits end been dealing with some serious electrical issues problem #2 and cant seem to sort it out ive checked and rechecked wiring replaced some fuses but still the problem persists anyone else dealt with similar gremlins in their classic car any tips or suggestions would be massively appreciated

Without specifics it's hard to guess what you are dealing with. I will say that your wiring wasn't meant to last 67 years. If you have all original wiring harnesses then you should inspect them closely for loose connections and bad insulation. Many wiring issues are cause by bad grounds. Ground connections on the body and frame were fine when the car was first built but after many years those ground connections are now corroded. You need to make sure all your ground wires are connected to clean and solid metal. The factory used ground wire that was the thinnest they could get away with. It never hurts to use heavier ground wire than what the factory used. Give us more information.
