If you are a Paid Member, there are 3 ways of uploading photos directly onto our Server. Here is how you do it.
In the course of a discussion that Dave ~ simplyconnected and I were having tonight, I discovered something that I did not know about. You will notice that Dave often puts text in his posts, followed by an photo or photo's of what he is talking about. Followed, perhaps by more comments and more photos.

Technical Resource Library (TRL) Link Has Moved!
Dave and I just moved the Technical Resource Library link from where we had it on the Forum into the Green bar above the Forums. It is now located just to the left of Donate To Site, making it quickly accessible. It will take you right to the TRL. Secondly, if you want to see everyone's signature elements and pix, then select POSTS instead of Latest Activity. The latter does not show you the signature elements of each users posts. By using POSTS you can see and click on the TRL link in my and John... -

Automated Paid Membership Renewal Email.
A few days (2-3) before your Paid Membership is about to expire the System is supposed to generate an automatic email to the email address that you joined the Forum with to remind you that your Paid Membership is about to expire. IF someone has changed email addresses and NOT changed that email address in their user id, then the System will send that email to an address that is no longer used and no one will see it. Unless they go back and check that old email address. If you wish to continue your... -

Viewing The Advertisement Forum in Ascending Order By Title...
When viewing the Advertisement Forum our vBulletin software now seems to revert it from the format we used to view it as. It now shows it as: Time - All Time, Show - All, Sort By - Date - last update, and order - Descending.
To change that, click on the Filter drop down and change only Sort By to - Title, and Order from Descending to Ascending. As you click on Title, it will re-sort it quickly and then after clicking on Ascending, it will resort it again and put it all in the alphabetical... -

Selecting An Avatar!
I see that many of you have never gotten around to selecting an Avatar for your User ID. You should be able to do so by clicking on your User Id. Down at the bottom of it, you should see the Edit Settings button. Clicking on it should take you to the ability to select an Avatar. There are a good number of Canned Avatar's to select. Pick one and install it and you should be able to see your new Avatar instead of that grayed out blank. If you have a Canned Avatar or a Custom Avatar you want to use,... -

Ways To Select Forum Color Combinations!
John and I just figured out why Registered Users cannot select the various Color Combinations that are available to us as administrators! The option to select a preferred Color Combination for Registered Users was turned OFF, so we activated it for all Registered users. The option to allow them to all be turned on had only a very few active. So we turned them all on and saved them, and both John and I were able to set our Registered User ID we test with, to chose any Color Combination we wish to.... -

Paid Member Update
Dave ~ simplyconnected, our great Webmaster, has just recently revamped our PayPal Paid Membership link! You can see the new DONATE TO SITE link right next to the word ARTICLES, under the Tbird Logo. Just click on it to take you to PayPal, which has two options, pay through your PayPal account, or pay by Debit or Credit Card. There is a third option and you will find that in the Membership Benefits & Webspace Information Forum, at the top of the Forum. It will tell you how to pay by check if... -

PayPal Payments & Renewals
Several of you have contacted me regarding having problems using PayPal for becoming a Paid Member or for renewing a Paid Membership. I have posted the method to use to make a payment to PayPal here in the ACTIVITIES section and they are working. We have had several payments come through recently using the new method. If you are still having problems, please call me at anytime during the day or night at 210-875-1411, and I should be able to talk you through it. The System seems to be generating...Last edited by YellowRose; May 2, 2020, 12:56 PM. -

Finding Old Threads/Topics or Posts From Our Old vBulletin Forum...
YellowRose
December 27, 9:30PM
Anders asked if there was any way to locate posts from the Old VB version and there is! Bring up User Profile and put the mouse on About. There you will find a lot of information regarding you and your User ID. Down at the bottom you should see Links and below that, a list of things to Find, like All Posts, All Started Topics, etc.. Clicking on Find all started topics will bring up every Thread (Topics, now) you ever started. By doing that, I was...Last edited by YellowRose; May 2, 2020, 01:08 PM. -

Ways To View The Forum!
There are many changes in the way our Forum can be viewed with this new version. Here are some tips that we are finding that you may want to put to good use.
You can view the Forum from the Blue Forums button. Or you can move your mouse and click on Latest Activity. If you do that, you will see two different ways of viewing the Forum, with different layouts. What John and I have found is, depending on which option you may chose, it can and has changed the settings of our User ID from...Last edited by YellowRose; May 2, 2020, 01:09 PM.
