The vinyl upholstery pattern for 1960 differed from previous models; the
design was a "button tufted" one, the same as for the cloth and
vinyl selections listed above. Door trim panels and rear quarter trim panels
duplicated this pattern as well.

The genuine leather upholstery pattern for 1960 differed from that of previous
models, and also did not match the upholstery patterns for the cloth and
vinyl, nor the all-vinyl interiors. The pattern utilized for the genuine
leather interior was of a vertical pleated design, which extended to the
door trim panels and the rear quarter trim panels. The only color selection
in leather that featured a contrasting color was the code 84 Tan interior.
The instrument panel, panel console, carpeting, and the section of the
door trim panels that surrounds the metal trim are all a Dark Beige with
this particular trim code only.

All convertible tops for 1960 were lined in black, with a black top frame.
1960 would be the final year Thunderbird Convertible tops would have the
chrome trim band at the header.
