Default seat foam

hi
I was wondering if anyone on the site owned a 65 / 66 Mustang and if the seats were the same size as the 58-60 thunderbirds. I had noticed that seat foam for the birds is running about $100 and i saw a ad for the mustangs seat foam for $68. It just seems that sometimes because it fits the thunderbird it cost more than when the same pc. is for something else. Thoughts?
thanks
Mark

Hi Mark -- I don't have a "Mousetang" but I was looking at my friends and thinking the same thing. They're awfully similiar.

I'll get some measurements.

Mustang seat foam is not like the Thunderbirds. The Mustang seat has a slimmer profile........and the new T-bird foam is made to fit its bigger (beefier) frame. Mustangs are cheaper too since there are so many places that make repo parts for "Stangs"
