Thanks Coral! The bird belonged to one owner until about a year ago. Garage kept but still has minor rust issues. I'll pay my dues soon and send a better picture. Camera is on the blink. I believe that makes mine older than yours, since the number is smaller. Correct me if I'm wrong.

By the way, I purchased this bird in Springfield, IL. I was up there last week. Close to you I presume.

Thanks again,

It's already in Rotella's Thunderbird Registry as #1642, as well as in the database I've been compiling. Car at one time was in Granville, IA, then for sale in Omaha '97, so it's moved around the midwest. Adding your info to its listing will certainly add to its history. I assume you've already seen my thoughts about its color in the VTCI Forum.

It still has Iowa historic plates on it. Its in the process of evaluating necessary running train and installing seatbelts, mirrors, etc to make it drivable. Hope to have a daily driver soon.

I really think that grey color would look GREAT on a Squarebird. I'd vote to keep her the original colors....

Same color as mine. But my inter is two tone brown. Which i think is real odd! People Ask what color I'm going to paint it all the time they think it's primer...
